Panerai History and Legend Exhibition: Opening Cocktail August 26
Panerai’s “History and Legend” Exhibition opened on August 26 and ran till September 6. A pop-up exhibition unit was installed at the entrance to Orchard Ion and showcased some of the history of the brand. A watchmaker was on hand to explain the details of the watches, and also making its appearance for the first time in Singapore was the “Siluro a Lenta Corsa”, the torpedo which inspired the origins of the Panerai designs.
IWC pre-Watches & Wonders: Unveils new Portofino Hand-wound Monopusher Chronograph in Hong Kong August 26
We attended the unveiling of the pre-Watches and Wonders novelty: the Portofino Hand-wound Monopusher Chronograph. The exclusive event was attended by only a handful of carefully selected press, specially flown into Hong Kong to attend. IWC CEO Georges Kern was at hand to unveil the novelty and to explain the directions in which he is taking the watchmaking powerhouse. Worldwide announcement of the Urwerk UR106 Lotus September 2
Urwerk chose to unveil their first ever ladies collection in Singapore with a series of events, including a special event, organized by The Hour Glass with Singapore Tatler.
