Case, Dial and Hands
The GA-700 presents a masculine and multi-dimensional shape which is a common characteristic in G-SHOCK watches, from the rugged bezel, tough button guards to the bold buttons around the case. The aesthetics of the watch is in tandem with what its known for, sheer toughness and durability for all uses.

We liked the dimensional hands which captivated our attention on first sight and presents a rugged look to the watch. These dimensional hands were shaped utilizing the original CASIO resin moulding technology, preserving quality and ruggedness. The GA-700 comes in the black and red colour schemes, employing the G-SHOCK brand colours, while evoking the passionate spirit of the brand.

From a functional perspective, the GA-700 presents a variety of features that enhances its usability. The Super Illuminator white LED light provides greater visibility in dim light situations and in addition, the hands shift out of the way for an easy viewing of the display. The GA-700 also delivers a battery life of about five years which is a standard expected of G-SHOCK watches, limiting the need for any form of maintenance.

Concluding Thoughts
The G-SHOCK GA-700 is an excellent watch ideal for many activities and we liked its new multi-dimensional design which enhanced the aesthetics to give it a tough and durable look. The dimensional hands were captivating and surely gives an interesting look to the display coupled with the overall design of the case which complements its looks.

The Absolute Toughness Challenge
We have all heard of how tough a G-SHOCK watch is and how it has been designed to deliver that level of durability and toughness. To really understand and experience just how amazing the G-SHOCK watch is in terms of the amount of “torture” it can take, we were invited to take part in the G-SHOCK Absolute Toughness Challenge.

Pink shorts and a nike singlet or a suit both can be worn in public
Awful – simply awful. But a fair price for what you get. I just don’t understand how they could get the aesthetics so wrong…
You know what they say about aesthetics: “One man’s meat is another man’s poison”. I rather like the aesthetics on this one, especially for a sporty, “indestructible” do everything watch.
