Max Busser & Friends (MB&F) is a really interesting watch brand. So interesting and diverse are their interests, that they created a beautiful and amazing store in Geneva to introduce to the world trinkets and boy’s toys (I am told, girls are allowed too…) which are absolutely fascinating.
The Deployant team recently spent an afternoon at the fascinating store, and was warmly welcome by Charris Yadigaroglou and Eleonor Picciotto. An amazing stall, with tons of interesting little toys and big toys. It was certainly a fun afternoon. Here are some pictures give a glimpse of the store.
The MB&F HM5 On the Road Again with Chicara Art V motocycle
An amazing motorbike, and believe it or not the model was our chauffeur for the day. MB&F employs the chauffer to drive guests from downtown Hotel de la Paix to rue Verdaine via the also amazing Citroen DS5 Hybrid. And she was kind and sporting enough to model the watch for us on the motorbike.
MB&F HM3 and The Hand Fingers MkIII
Created by Nick Ramage in the actual image of his own hand, and made in black iron, it features an electric motor which moves a wheel with 4 offset fingers which cause the fingers of the hand to move like the incessecent drumming of an impatient person. A video by MAD Gallery, of the workings of the hand is found here. Some find the hand creepy, it kind of reminds me of The Hand of the Addams Family. But I think its rather fun.
