In the characteristic “nothing to hide” attitude taken by Xavier which is the cornerstone of the Czapek philosophy, we were allowed to witness everything that happened on a Monday. We were even allowed to participated in the Daily Briefing, where the entire company takes about 10 minutes to update everyone (yes I mean everyone). Each person gives an update on what they have achieved the previous day, what were the roadblocks. And if there were indeed obstacles to peak performance, it gets tackled there and then, as all stakeholders are present.

Quite an eye opening two days at the Czapek manufacture. We were also taken around to two of their suppliers, one making the titanium case and bracelets, and the other the grand feu enamel dials. And that will be follow in the next episode of this continuing and fascinating story of the Czapek brand.
